LIMIT YOUR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

Alcohol consumption is one of the most horrible habits. It leads to various health issues and after all the ill effects of this we are not able to leave this. In this article we are going to learn why we should not drink alcohol and how we can get rid of this.

The most common problem after alcohol intake is that you have NO CONTROL OVER BODY; this problem may ruin your social life. This leads to a problem like abusing others, walking out of control, accidents, very and to talk properly. This effect is short term usually last for a night only.

It leads to DEPRESSION as alcohol interferes with the bio chemicals released by the brain. Depression leads to various health issues and may even push you towards death.

It can cause various PHOBIAS and PSYCHOSIS, heavy drinkers who consume more than the recommended intake. A severe mental health illness may occur like hallucinations and delusions because of high intake of alcohol.

Now we will move on to how we can curb this habit.
SET A REALISTIC GOAL – Take a pen and paper , write down how many drinks you want to have per day. Writing makes you reminding that you want to limit your alcohol intake.

COUNT YOUR DRINKS – Record how many drinks you have in a day and also measure the amount of it. Stick to your goal even when you are at home or even at bar.

PACE YOURSELF – Sipping helps you in regulating your drinks and it can even help you in having 1 drink to 1 hour. People, who consume faster drink, are at greater risk to have alcohol related disorders.

SPACE YOUR DRINKS– Non alcoholic drinks can be taken in between your alcoholic drinks. This will help you in limiting your alcohol consumption.

DON’T FORGET TO EAT - Sometimes eating with alcohol reduces the cravings for your alcohol. It varies with person to person. Eating more fibre reduces the affect of the alcohol.

KNOW YOUR NO – You are likely to offer a drink when you don’t want to. Have a polite and convincing no ready with you. If you hesitate, it gives you time to make excuses to go along.

I hope you can now understand the pros and cons of this dreadful habit and now will be able to limit alcohol consumption willingly because small changes make big differences!!
