Do you feel amazing when you hear the word pizza, pasta, French fries, doughnuts? Do you love these kinds of foods? These may taste good, may be pleasing to your taste buds but not as pleasing to the rest of your body. You should not eat them every day. These types of foods should be eaten in moderation. Moderation does not mean much. You can eat these type of food once in a while.
As there is a saying that “when bacteria do not eat such food then why should you”!
• Eat a balanced diet- it includes all the macronutrient and micronutrient so that you can maintain a consistent energy levels throughout the day.
• Eat greens- one way to get the good habit of eating is to consume a good quantity of vegetables and fruits in a whole day.
• Choose whole foods- though processed foods are not always unhealthy it contains some unwanted preservatives that make it unhealthy, so play it safe- go whole.
• Seasonal cooked foods- if you want to do something easy what you can do is you can use the seasonal fruits and vegetables which are more colourful and gives you good flavours and enhances the taste of the dish.
• Have good quality proteins – they help in strengthening the muscles and rebuilding the tissues so you can ample amount of pulses, milk and its products, eggs, chicken.
• Plan your meals – Every second hourly you must have something. Small and frequent meals should be there. You can munch on fruits, salads, roasted grains, soups and so on.
